The month of July is unique on the CHIKARA calendar! We're offering up just one giant, star-studded card, on Sunday afternoon, July 13th, at our homebase of the New Alhambra in Philadelphia. This one will be a card on par with our very finest stand-alone events, and every loyal member of the CHIKARMY will want to be on hand when "Tragedy and Triumph" plays in South Philly!

Among these is the long-anticipated rematch between the two largest men on our roster - Brodie Lee and Claudio Castagnoli. Their two previous bouts have ended in disqualifications, and for that reason, our Director of Fun Leonard F. Chikarason has stipulated that the bout will have No Disqualification, but will have 2 officials assigned should the action get out of control.

In addition to which, tag team partners will collide when "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush takes on his protege and partner Shane Storm, in a match signed by the Director of Fun just this past week. Rumors sparked over Young Lions Cup weekend seem to indicate that Shane Storm taught the counter to the CHIKARA Special to Chris Hero last November, and our company founder wants answers. He may get them when Quack and Storm meet in their first ever singles encounter!

Ric Flair is Coming to This Year's NWA Legends Fanfest! Plus More Details on This Huge Wrestling Weekend of August 14-17 in Charlotte, NC!

That's right, folks! The one and only "Nature Boy" Ric Flair will indeed be at this year's NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest in Charlotte, North Carolina. Flair's appearance is scheduled for Friday afternoon, August 15th from 1PM - 4 PM.

NWA Legends Fanfest will be offering the first 150 people that want it, at $100 per person, a Photo Op with Flair and his signature on one of your own items. After the Photo Op photos are taken and before folks got them back, Ric Flair will sign them as well.

MSCW This Sunday Night in Bowling Green, KY

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the MSCW show for June 8th in Bowling Green, KY was canceled. With that said Mid-South Championship Wrestling returns to Bowling Green, Kentucky on Sunday night June 15th for "Homecoming."

The event takes place at The Boys & Girls Club located on 11th St. Doors for the event open at 6:00 PM with bell time at 7:00 PM. Admission is just $6.00 with kids 4 and under admitted FREE with a paid adult.

The event, which is properly, named "Homecoming" marks our return to Bowling Green, KY for the first time since April and our return to Sunday nights. It has been over 1 year since Mid-South Wrestling has ran weekly in Bowling Green on Sunday nights. For over a decade wrestling on Sunday nights has been a weekly tradition in Bowling Green. Ever since Dale Mann started running Bowling Green in the early 1990's wrestling had always been on Sunday nights.

Bowling Green has seen legends come and legends go. With the likes of Tracy Smothers, Bill Dundee, Jamie "Ice Ice Baby" Dundee, Chris Champion, Killer Khan, Gypsy Joe, and Andy Douglas. That's just naming a few stars who have come through or gotten started in Bowling Green.

MAW Returned to the Daisy in April and now presents Anarchy in June! 4 Big Matches have been signed which features the war that continues between KC Gold and Derrick King. KC Gold has enlisted his Veteran of TFO, Johnny Morton to take out Derrick King.

In April, the team of "Irish Dragon" Scott Fury and Memphis 10 winner Austin Lane defeated Chris Lexx and The Crime in a non-title bout to earn their #1 Contendership to the Tag Team Titles. On June 15th, they will will get their shot at the gold.

The Associates do battle as the man paid by Derrick King, Big Country takes on KC Gold's paid bodyguard, Armageddon in a Anything Goes, Hardcore match. There is a good chance blood will flow this Father's Day when anything that isn't nailed down can be used as a weapon.

For the past few months, Danny B Good and Dre Black have passed each other on the roads in other promotions and it was Dre Black who cost Danny B his shot at the Memphis 10 tournament. These two are arguably battling for a shot at the MAW Heavyweight Championship. A title currently held in limbo.

Expect other matches to be announced via the site or live at the New Daisy. Belltime is 5:30pm, doors open at 5! Tickets are 8 at the door. If you child is 12 and under, they get in with your paid admission for FREE! One Child per adult.
